PAGE 19 PANEL 1 Tall panel, Hiida standing over her. We can see how Hiida is sucking the magic out of Nelsi. “Hello, little geist.”
PANEL 2 Nelsi’s face is contorted with anger as Hiida takes hold of her by the throat and lifts her up. “Grk…Hkg!”
PANEL 3 Hiida holds her up. Nelsi’s face is covered with sadness, she can’t hold back her emotions anymore with anger. “You… you killed my Mom…why…”
PANEL 4 Close up of Hiida, looking almost delightful. “Nelsi, Nelsi. I would’ve let you go, didn’t you know that? You were a quiet geist, you never showed off your powers. I could’ve let you slide.”
PANEL 5 Hiida looks almost regretful as we see Tabby sneaking over to Philip in the background. “But now, well… I can’t have you wandering around can I?”
PAGE 20 PANEL 1 Tabby is trying to wake up Philip. She looks frightful, eyes glazed with tears. “Philip, Philip wake up!”
PANEL 2 Tabby’s defeated face. Hiida off-panel: “Don’t bother, Tabetha Cohen. It will be a bit before they awaken.”
PANEL 3 Hiida turns back to Nelsi, maniacal. “As for you, Fair Nelsi, since you like to show off your geist powers so badly, how would you like some help?”
PANEL 4 Hiida, gently: “I know it must be difficult to gather all the ciphrony it takes to make your magic happen. But if I gave you more of it… why, you could make all the water you ever wanted couldn’t you?”
PANEL 5 Nelsi looks absolutely terrified. “No, Priestess! No, you can’t! Merofi prohibits it!”
PAGE 21 PANEL 1 Hiida laughs. “Hahaha~ Merofi prohibits it!”
PANEL 2 She pulls Nelsi’s face close to hers and speaks quietly, smile fading to a strange sneer. “Only I can say what is prohibited!”
PANEL 3 Far shot, we see Hiida is forcing ciphrony into Nelsi, who is writhing.
PANEL 4 Tabby’s eyes wide, she’s covering her ears. “AAaaaaaaaaaaaauuunnng!!!!”

PANEL 3 Big, dramatic panel. Hiida standing with her hands tensed, grinning and straining, Nelsi’s watery form melting through her fingers, it looks gruesome and sadistic.
PAGE 23 PANEL 1 Tabby is looking towards Hiida, speechless.
PANEL 2 Hiida from behind, hunched over.
PANEL 3 Close up, she looks over her shoulder. Calm and cool once more. “And that, my little Earthling, is how you kill a geist…”
PANEL 4 Tabby’s face, mouth closed, looking sullen. The people around her are waking up. “Urh…”
PANEL 5 One person near her sits up. “What happened? Has the prayer ended?”
PAGE 24 PANEL 1 Tabby covers her mouth and looks ill. Hiida’s voice off panel: “Now now, be at peace, Cerians.”
PANEL 2 Hiida continues, looking gracious and beautiful: “Don’t blame the poor Earth Girl for her mistake.”
PANEL 3 Tabby walks slowly towards Hiida as she continues: “She merely bumped into me while trying to get a closer look at how Merofi speaks through me…”
PANEL 4 She looks down at Tabby: “Isn’t that right, my dear?”
PANEL 5 Tabby looks up at her defiantly: “You’re lying…”
PAGE 25 PANEL 1 Tabby faces the audience: “She just killed someone! A Keeper!”
PANEL 2 Hiida starts laughing “AH HAHAHAHA~!”
PANEL 3 Tabby looking around her, pissed off. The audience laughs at her: “HAHAHAHA”
PANEL 4 Hiida looks down at Tabby with pity and amusement: “Now Tabetha, you don’t have to make up stories to hide your embarrassment at interrupting our prayer!”
PANEL 5 She looks knowingly at the audience: “Honestly! Me killing a keeper!” Audience: “HAHAHA”
PAGE 26 PANEL 1 Tabby looks incredulous: “I’m telling you she just killed someone! A geist!” Audience: “HAHAHA”
PANEL 2 Hiida looks at Tabby with a serious face. “How ridiculous. The poor girl is obviously mad.” The audience continues laughing.
PANEL 3 Tabby stares back at Hiida, realizing she can’t win this.
PANEL 4 Tabby flies off, distraught. Philip gets up to go after her
PANEL 5 Hiida: “Stop.” Philip stops. He’s frozen.
PAGE 27 PANEL 1 Hiida walks to the edge of the platform: “Turn around and face me, young man.”
PANEL 2 Philip looks at her with daggers in his eyes.
PANEL 3 Hiida: “You look familiar.”
PANEL 4 Philip looks up at her intensely. “I’m General Raed’s closest apprentice. I’m sure you’ve seen me around before.”
PANEL 5 Hiida nods, although suspicious. “Yes, that’s right…”
PANEL 6 She melts into a smile: “Well, be sure to give the General my blessing.”
